You said yes, and you’ve picked a date! Congratulations! But what if you’re crunched for time and need to say I do as soon as possible? While you could go to City Hall and make it official, it’s generally not too late to plan a beautiful wedding complete with lots of guests and festivities.

If you’ve only got 30 days to tie the knot, here are some steps you can take to prepare for your big day at Tribeca Rooftop + 360° in NYC.

Pick A Venue

Once you’ve chosen your date, estimate how many guests you’d like, and contact venues as soon as possible. Often venues have availability on weeknights and weekdays, so if your date isn’t set in stone, you may want to consider holding your wedding on off-peak hours or days.

After you’ve secured your venue, you can start planning the little details that will make your big day special. At Tribeca Rooftop + 360° in NYC, our in-house catering team can help you plan the perfect menu to serve at our venue.

Hire An Officiant

Once you know your wedding date and time, it’s time to hire an officiant. If you cannot find one that can accommodate your time, consider having a friend or family member become an ordained minister online and performing the ceremony for you.

Also, don’t forget to get your marriage license so your officiant can sign it and seal the deal!

Hire A Planner

When it comes to getting things done, planners seem to work magic. Wedding planners are wonderful resources, and with their ample connections, planners can often secure things like flowers, tableware, and other decorations that you may not be able to find - or may not have time to look for.

At Tribeca Rooftop + 360° in NYC, our planners are here to help you and your private planner as well.

If you choose to do the planning yourself, make lots of checklists to help you stay organized, and recruit help from friends and family.

Send Your Invitations

With many online card sites offering fast turnaround, getting invitations made quickly is easier than it used to be, however you may want to consider sending an email invite for faster responses. There are many services available for this, or you can find graphic designers on Etsy who can make you a beautiful card you can print on your own. Or, if your guest list is small enough, purchase blank invitations and fill in the details by hand.

Decisions, Decisions

When planning your wedding, you have many choices to make. From the colors to the wedding party to the cake and flowers. If you haven’t hired a planner, it’s time to figure out your wedding’s look and feel.

Book an entertainer as soon as possible to make sure they are available on your wedding day. If you cannot secure anyone for your special day, consider doing a DIY playlist or a streaming service to be played throughout the venue. Our in-house AV Team, AV Workshop will be happy to help handle the setup and acoustics.

Can’t get special ordered gowns for you and your maids? Consider buying off the rack, or allowing your maids to find a gown in a specific color on their own.

For flowers and other decor, if you can’t find what you want, consider DIY’ing it. Pinterest has many beautiful craft ideas, and you can find videos for almost anything you want to try on Youtube.
