It may not seem like it yet, but it’s already time to start planning your corporate holiday party. Starting early will not only secure you the date of your choice, it will allow you to plan all the details that go into pulling off the perfect event.

While planning your corporate event may seem pretty straightforward, there are many details you must consider in the planning process. Here are just a few ideas to get you started planning your corporate holiday party at Tribeca Rooftop + 360° in NYC.

Book Your Space

The first thing you need to do when planning your event is to book the event space. Once you have a date and location you can better plan the other details like food, entertainment, invitations, and other elements of your celebration.

Now is the time to check schedules and see which dates work best for your guests. Make sure there are no conferences planned and that the majority of your guests will be able to attend. Start viewing locations and secure your date early.

Book Your Entertainment

Whether it’s a brass band, a DJ, a motivational speaker, or a theatrical act or performance, entertainers may be booked out months in advance depending on their popularity. Once you have a date and location secured, be sure to book your event entertainment as early as possible.

Save The Date

Once you know the date, ask your employees to save the date so they can attend the event. Giving plenty of notice will allow them to arrange for things like travel, childcare, and vacation time.

Order Your Swag

Will you be giving out gifts or door prizes at your event? Order your corporate gifts earlier this year to make sure everything arrives on time. With current supply chain shortages, products are taking longer to ship, and the longer you wait the more likely you are to face backorders and sellouts.

Plan Your Decor

Will you need event decals? Signage? Lighting effects? Floral arrangements? Now is the time to start thinking about the look and feel of your special event. Decor can help set the mood, and makes your event visually appealing to your guests. If you need lighting or audio effects, our in house AV team, AV Workshop can help. If you need outside decor from other vendors such as floral arrangements or wall decals, book now before it becomes difficult to book your first choice vendors for your event.

Plan Your Menu

Food is a big deal at any special event. Start planning your menu now to allow time to see if your guests have dietary restrictions such as allergies, religious restrictions, or on special diets such as vegan or vegetarian diets. This will give our in-house catering team time to get creative and help you customize your menu so that everyone feels included in your celebration.

Order Your Invitations

Make sure to order your invitations well in advance so they get mailed early enough for your guests to reply with a yes. This is especially important if you opt to not send save the date notifications. Be sure to include all the details you can, including safety protocols, menu, parking, location, time, guest speakers (if they’re not a surprise!) and any other pertinent information.

Now you’re ready to relax and enjoy the festivities! If you need help with any aspect of planning your NYC corporate holiday party, please do not hesitate to contact Tribeca Rooftop + 360° for assistance.
